UPCOMING - 108 Fine Art Exhibition

The lovely folks at 108 Fine Art in Harrogate popped by my studio today to discuss my forthcoming exhibition. They took some of my large framed paintings in advance of the exhibition, which are now in the gallery and available to purchase. The exhibition opens on the 24th June 2023 and runs to the 5th August 2023. I will also be showing new ceramic works created on my AA2A artist residency at the university of Sunderland.

WORKSHOPS - Ryedale Folk Museum (Wedding Charms)

A lovely time yesterday at Ryedale Folk Museum making lucky heather and lucky horseshoe brooches. This workshop is to tie in with the recent opening of their traditional wedding exhibition.

This lovely gentleman bought one of my A1 sized portraits from my Easter Open Studio today as he thought that it looked like him! There's definitely a resemblance 😂

STUDIO - Easter Holiday Open Studio

It's been a busy year and I've not had much time to spend in my studio recently due to my artist residency at the University of Sunderland. So it's been great to spend a few days at the studio this week having a bit of a spring clean, just in time for my open studio over the Easter Holiday weekend. I love the view from the windows of my studio on the West Pier in Scarborough. I look out onto the harbour from one end and the south bay from the other end... beautiful 💗

AA2A - A Busy Week

A busy week on my artist residency at the National Glass Center and the University of Sunderland. It's Easter break now so I'm looking forward to having a spring clean in my studio next week!
