EXHIBITION - Hidden Agenda, Granary Gallery, Berwick
A lovely opening on Saturday at the Granary Gallery in Berwick Upon Tweed for the Hidden Agenda exhibition. It was lovely to meet the artist Doug Jones who co curated the exhibition and was showing a fab piece of work called Generations, also the artist Katie Davies who was just a couple of days into her new residency with Berwick Visual Arts.... been checking out their past work online, check out the following links. Conscious Craft. I am showing my 'Trilogy of Death' series in this
exhibition co curated by the Crafts Council Collection, Berwick Visual Arts & artist Doug Jones.

The Granary Gallery - Saturday 22 March 2014 from 2pm
A
Crafts Council Collection exhibition, curated in partnership with
Berwick Visual Arts and artist Doug Jones, ‘Hidden Agenda’ presents
works by makers and designers who use craft as a platform for social
comment and provocation.
The
exhibition includes works from the Crafts Council Collection by artists
Jane Atfield, Stephen Dixon, Michael Marriott, Angela O’Kelly, Grayson
Perry, Paul Scott, Lynn Setterington, Audrey Walker, Michele Walker and
Lois Walpole alongside new work by Doug Jones and Karen Thompson.
The exhibition will be launched by Annabelle Campbell, Head of Exhibitions and Collections, Crafts Council with Doug Jones and Karen Thompson discussing their work in the exhibition.
All welcome with complimentary tea and cake served on Level 1 of Berwick YHA, courtesy of the YHA Bistro.
