AIM & CLICK - Internal Wiring

I love walking past those phone box cable cabinets and seeing them open whilst an engineer is working in them... this feels like my brain at the moment

AIM & CLICK - Cormorant at South Bay

I'm fascinated by cormorants, I love being by the beach and catching glimpses of them, this was a rare treat to watch, this cormorant spent ages on the RNLI slipway today with outstretched wings. It did almost feel like it was modelling for me at one point 😀

AIM & CLICK - Scarborough Joke Shop

I just love this Joke Shop in Scarborough, as a youth I remember being transfixed by the Joke stall at Newcastle Quayside Market every Sunday, I would have loved a shop like this then...

Still the same tie! The New Mayor of Harrogate was out again tonight, this time with his Consort... A double whammy. Couldn't resist....

AIM & CLICK - Harrogate Mayor, Day 1

Harrogate's New Mayor - May 2013

I love the tie the brand new Mayor of Harrogate chose to wear on his very first day as Mayor. A down to earth chap who was in his element at the thought of being chauffeur driven around for the next year!

AIM & CLICK - Lollipop Lady's Ban

Another headline that I couldn't resist this week... from the Sunderland Echo again this time. Oh how I truly love non-headline news!

AIM & CLICK - The Habits of Folks

Harrow Road, London.

Andrew Victor Wood

Just sorting through some photos on my laptop and I thought I would post these two. I lived on Harrow Road in London for a year and was fascinated with the view from the window... random things were always happening. The other photo is of Andrew Victor Wood (the singer in Ultrasound) on his doorstep, I wonder if he has some new slippers yet!

AIM & CLICK - At the end of my street

Scarborough South Bay Beach.

Summer's almost over... the sun seeking tourists will soon deminish to be replaced by the 'Turkey & Tinsel brigade'. I sometimes take the sea for granted and forget that people travel miles to come to the beach. I enjoy seeing the beach sculptures of everyday folk, there's something timeless about sandcastles although the tide washes them away every day.... wish I had been out photographing more sculptures over the summer.

AIM & CLICK - Crow on Valley Bridge

Crow on Valley Bridge, Scarborough

The walk to and from my studio takes me over Valley Bridge. I love the iron work of this bridge... Mr Crow didn't enjoy me following him along trying to get a good image as he tried to hop out of range.

AIM & CLICK - Sunderland Echo Stand

Sunderland Echo News Stand - Blandford St.

I'm seemingly completely obsessed with all news stands nowadays! I couldn't resist snapping this little setup last Thursday as I passed... I particularly like the aesthetics of the poster being stuck on with parcel tape & possibly a tatty magnet. I'm a little perplexed as to why the Thursday has a '-1' following it. It can't be a reference to the date as it was Thursday 9th, maybe they edition the headlines throughout the day... if anyone can enlighten I would be very much grateful.

AIM & CLICK - Blossom & Victorian road signs

The Crescent, Scarborough.

Spring is in the air... this blossom jumped out at me as I was walking to the studio today. The sprouting through of new life and growth after the darkness of winter comes as a timely reminder...
