PRESS - BBC Radio Kent

Image result for bbc radio kent

I was invited to appear on BBC Radio Kent today talking about my Tureen Heads. The topic being discussed on the show was hoarding or decluttering and the lady presenter - Erika North had bought two of my heads from a Gallery in Margate... She was telling everyone about them and how she would never part with them. You can listen to the show on iPlayer for the next 28 days... Here's the link:

There's a lovely introduction to my heads by Erika at 7.5 minutes in and then I appear at 1hr 8 minutes in...

PRESS - Scarborough News Video

Scarborough News popped around to my studio last week to do a feature on my ceramic heads... somehow, I allowed myself to be momentarily filmed! Not sure how that happened... and now it's on their website.

I did get my own back on Sue and the photographer however making them both pose with my heads in a similar fashion to which I had been requested.

WORK IN PROGRESS - Gordon

Today's Offering.

I've enjoyed making this chap today... it's funny seeing the changing stages within ceramics, things alter dramatically with kiln firings and each stage of the process seems to have it's own different attractive qualities and life forces. This stage, the most vulnerable and fragile always seems to hold an extra special enchantment for me.

WORK IN PROGRESS - 3 heads are better than 1

Work in Progress Heads.

I'm busy working on three heads at the moment. The middle head is a tureen incorporating a ladle which I've disguised as a curl. I'm having fun making these... it feels like a light hearted aside.
